Intersections of Offers and Wants
The magic happens in the middle.
It's probably not shocking to make the assertion that what you offer (either individually or through the products/services you work on) doesn't 100% overlap with what people want.
The same statement likely isn't shocking the other way: What people want won't be met entirely by a singular offering (either by an individual or through an individual product/service).
Likely, the above is not shocking because we've all heard the adage "you can't be everything to everyone".
What is worth doing, however, is taking the time to assess both circles of the Venn Diagram and more deeply understand the intersection.
Why?
Because the intersection is where people with special skills and abilities uniquely meet the needs of an organization.
Because the intersection is where organizations with programming and events can provide real, tangible value with those they seek to serve.
Because the intersection is where specific products/services can solve problems and alleviate pain points - both in the pursuit of "better".
Because that's the space where the real magic happens.
Thanks for spending time with me in my workshop,
