How Things Are vs How They Could Be
Two ways to view the world.
There are two ways to see things:
You can see things for how they are.
Or you can see things for how they could be.
The former is important. You must understand the current landscape, the way things function today, and the environment in which you operate.
Seeing things for how they are is foundational for making an impact because it's the hand you've been dealt and the hand you get to play today.
But the latter is equally important. You need to be clear about what's possible, have a vision of your future state, and know where you're trying to go.
Seeing things for how they could be is how we go about making change. Progress towards better. Step by step.
Better yet is to see the world through both lenses. How things are and how they could be.
Only then can you make a plan to take you from A to B.
So how do you see things?
Thanks for spending time with me in my workshop,
