Fear vs Freedom

How do you approach your work?

The way you approach your work has a direct tie to the quality and impact of it. You can approach the work with an attitude of fear, or you can approach it with an attitude of freedom.

Do you come from an angle of fear? Is your primary concern "not breaking" something? Or fear of making a mistake?

When you approach the work from fear, you're more likely to shy away from calculated risks - opting for the safer option. Chances are, you won't do anything wrong - but you are likely to miss the opportunity to hit a home run.

Or do you come from an angle of freedom? Do you feel secure enough to take a risk with the work? Are you willing to put something on the line when the payout could be big?

When you approach the work from freedom, you see doors that could be opened. You see opportunities worth chasing (even though they may not ultimately materialize). You're able to try new things - knowing you have the freedom to strive towards better.

So the question is, how do you approach your work?

Thanks for spending time with me in my workshop,
